ERDENE
- Environmental
Research, Development, and Education
for the New Economy
2004-2005 ERDENE
Open Awards
The steering committee for Environmental
Research, Development and Education for the New Economy (ERDENE)
announces successful proposals in the recent competition for open
grants. Thirty-eight proposals were received in response to the
campus-wide request for proposals. All proposals were reviewed by an
outside, off-campus panel of six evaluators. Based on their
recommendations, the ERDENE committee and Vice-Provost for Research
Carl Fox awarded support in a total amount of $482,128 to the
following ten projects. If you would like to know more about one of
these projects, please contact one of the principal investigators. The
ERDENE initiative is funded by Education 2000 (Proposition 301) passed
by Arizona voters in November 2000 and coordinated at NAU by the
Center for Sustainable Environments in collaboration with the ERDENE
steering committee. Congratulations to these awardees!
