Does NAU Recycle? Absolutely!

Attend one of our information sessions:
Thursday December 1 or Friday December 2
Discussion:  2:00-3:00 p.m. in Sechrist Hall Classroom
Tour:  3:00-4:00 p.m. (bus to Municipal Recycling Center)



You are invited to hear about the new NAU recycling program and to tour the Municipal Recycling Facility (MRF) where campus recyclables are processed. Jonathan Koehn, Director of the City of Flagstaff Environmental Services and Robert Chavez, Director of Environmental Health and Safety at NAU will explain how the recycling process works on campus, respond to questions, and lead a tour of the MRF.

Two information sessions will be held on Thursday Dec.1 and Friday Dec.2 in the Sechrist Hall classroom (Bldg 42 – Next to Fronske Health Center – On San Francisco Street). Discussion will be from 2:00-3:00pm and bus transportation to the Municipal Recycling Center will be provided for the optional tour 3:00-4:30pm.

These sessions are sponsored by the Campus Sustainability Steering Committee and the Center for Sustainable Environments. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see how the new program is working and become a more involved citizen on campus. Questions? Call CSE @ 523-0637.
